| New Web Site Helps New York City Luxury Apartment Buyers
Buyers of Manhattan luxury condominiums and coops now have one site where they can quickly and easily see all upcoming open houses. New York, NY (PRWEB) April 20, 2007 -- Corporate Performance Artists announces the launching of NYC-Open-House-Listings.com This website allows buyers of luxury New York City real estate, primarily coops and condos, to view all open house listings on one site. "Until now, locating a list of New York City open houses involved the arduous process of navigating through a myriad of agency owned websites or using the New York Times rather unintuitive open house search. NYC-Open-House-Listings.com solves that problem," stated Corporate Performance Artists Owner and President Joseph Franklyn McElroy. .
A Historic Landmark
An important lesson learnt at the all-India level from the ouster of the first Communist ministry was what the CPI(M) Programme had stated, that the threat to the parliamentary system and the democracy does not come from the working people but from the exploiting classes. When the people begin to use parliamentary institutions for advancing their cause and move away from the influence of the big bourgeoisie and the landlords, these classes do not hesitate to trample underfoot parliamentary democracy. The dismissal of the EMS ministry in 1959 was a signal reminder of this class truth. Later too, elected governments were dismissed and constitutional provisions manipulated to prevent Communist-led governments as in West Bengal. The resort to semi-fascist terror in West Bengal and Tripura with the brazen violation of all democratic rights are clear examples of the extent to which the bourgeois-landlord classes will go.
Expensive equipment unnecessary for baseball
I read with interest the article on young blacks not having the opportunity to play baseball because of the cost of equipment ("Fewer blacks play baseball in Indy area high schools," April 15). Who says you have to have the most expensive equipment to play? Reasonably priced bats and gloves can be found easily and balls are still cheap. .
More Weirdness in Brooklyn: Wellington Sharpe Back on Ballot
A federal judge has just ordered Wellington Sharpe back on the ballot for the April 24th special City Council election in Brooklyn's 40th district, sources tell me. Sharpe had been removed because he failed to collect enough valid signatures on his petitions. By my count, that makes a total of three candidates who will not be running for this office. For the second time in about two months. Another candidate seeking to get back on the ballot, Maria Gina Faustin, remains off the ballot. For now. UPDATE: A Board of Elections spokeswoman said the printing costs for the new ballot is between $45,000 to $50,000. -- Azi Paybarah .
